I began all this during the days of steam television and wooden video tape.  I already had a little over a dozen years under my belt, first as a broadcast engineer and later as an editor, before starting Forest Post in 1984.

As I look back on a career that has suddenly and astonishingly become forty years since its beginning, I can still say that it beats the hell out of working for a living.
